Valor Fitness BD-7 Power Rack Review
Versatile and adjustable sturdy construction
The Valor Fitness BD-7 Power Rack is constructed of 2 x 2 inch 12 gauge steel frame with spacious walk-in exercise space (23.4 x 45.5 inches). The feet of the cage are covered in rubber sleeves to ensure unmatched stability, safety and floor protection.
It includes a solidly constructed pull-up station at the top of the rack with knurled grips that offer a variety of exercises in the comfort of your home. It also features a lat pull down station with adjustable pulley extension and plate loading carriage. A curl/low row bar is also included.
The bars can be positioned at 27 different height positions between 17.5 and 68 inches from the floor and the peg holes can be used for a variety of attachments like squat bar holders (with 500lbs capacity), dip handles, dumbbell holders, safety bar extensions, short bar holders and safety bar catch (with 500lbs capacity).
The Valor Fitness BD-7 Power Rack supports 500lbs when using the bar holders outside of the cage; 650 lbs for the bar holders inside the cage and 800lbs on the safety bars. A true beast of a power rack weight lifting station!
Choose between 3 available options
- BD-7 – This version of the Power Rack comes with the chip-up bar and the lat pull down attachment.
- BD-7BCC – This is an upgraded version of the BD-7 version of the Valor Fitness Power Rack in that it includes the Cable Crossover attachment which provides the opportunity for a dramatically wider range of exercises. Each pulley on the Cable Crossover features a double track for increased stability and more efficient movement. It also contains adjustable handles. I personally haven’t tried this option, but if the cable crossover attachments are as quality made and as functional as the lat pull down, then you are good to go.
- BD-CC2.0– This version only includes the Cable Crossover attachment for those of you who already have the BD-7 Power Rack.
