This isn’t JUST a yoga swing. Of course yoga is great for our body and spirit, but it’s not the ONLY way. Relaxation in any way is the first step to connecting with ourselves and others. Now, more than ever, this CONNECTION to ourselves is something that we’re all learning to take more time for because the benefits are undeniable.
If you’re a yoga enthusiast, you may already know exactly how to use this to your benefit, and we say GO FOR IT! For the rest of us, we’ll use it in any and every way that benefits each of us differently.
If that’s providing support in getting that nice deep stretch, first thing in the morning, or right before bedtime, go for it!
If that’s providing a nice place to lay in the shade between 2 trees, go for it!
If it’s an imaginary pod that’s suspended in the corner of the room, where you sit and read to your children, then go for it!
If it’s an accessory in the bedroom that assists in the reconnection of 2 hearts after a long day and the kids have gone to bed (or off to college), go for it!
If you’re just looking for new and creative positions to create your next child, go for it!
And if it’s just been a long day and you want to use it as an inversion sling to help stretch and relieve that ‘all day backache’ (and you’ve ran this idea by your doctor), then GO FOR IT
