Forward head posture is the number one cause of neck pain and headaches and plays a major role in many cases of TMJ. Cervical curve reversal is the result of forward head translation in almost all cases. Poor head posture places tremendous stress on the neck muscles which must support the head. The increased pressure placed on the spine from the muscular force exerted to keep the head upright leads to early degeneration of the discs and joints in the neck and upper back. The Neck Correct exercises are effective for rehabilitating injured or degenerated spines, strengthening the major muscles of the neck and upper back, and restores proper head balance. * Neck extension exercises may not be suitable for all neck conditions.
