The Soul 7 HD from Rossignol is back and better than ever! How did Rossignol improve upon an already super popular, high performing freeride all mountain ski? With a whole new tip concept and shape that really changes the feel of the ski. The Soul 7 HD has always been famous for its maneuverability and relative ease of use. It has become a go-to ski for trees, moguls, and really any kind of off-piste terrain, but also retains solid performance on groomed slopes. It’s an all mountain ski geared toward the more freeride-oriented, playful skier. For 2018 Rossignol is introducing their Air Tip 2.0. This new tip is both lighter and stronger thanks to the fact that it extends further into the core of the ski and also uses brand new, symmetrical reinforcements that run all the way to the tip. The result is a ski that is just as maneuverable as it’s always been, but is now significantly more stable, quieter at speed, and overall smoother. Anyone that’s been a fan of the Soul 7 in past seasons will still absolutely love it, but the changes to the new ski do make it hold up to more aggressive skiing much better than the previous skis, so the Soul 7 HD may find its way into some new ski quivers.
