Changing The Schedule – Why You Should Consider Changing It Too

schedule change
As you noticed, today’s post is going to be more about us. But that’s fine with you, right? I mean who on Earth doesn’t like to hear us rant over and over, huh?

Kidding. Despite the fact that I have an announcement to make to all of you, I’m putting another subject to slightly dissect on the table.

First thing first, the thing I wanted to tell you.

As you can see, we are a fairly young blog per se. In terms of how long we’ve been out there, not to be mistaken. Despite our lifespan on the web so far, we want to bring you the best of information on subjects like self-improvement, and the wide specter of things closely connected with fitness, diet, healthy living, sports and other recreational activities.

By no means are we experts in any of these, but truth be told we read and concern ourselves with these subjects more than you think, trying relentlessly to find new and new information that will somehow affect the way we go through life.

That is also the reason why this blog was created in the first place – to build a community where these aspects of life and lifestyle are constantly discussed, with the thought of improving our quality of life always staying in the back of our head.

So, in that fashion, we decided that it will be better to slightly change our schedule, and go from three posts a week to just two.

The reason we are doing this is because of the initial intent we always had – and that is to build this site to become the best source of information for subjects even loosely connected with personal growth and healthy lifestyle while living full time.

Therefore, from now on the material is going to be more in-depth, we will put more thought into it, and try to diversify quite a bit in the aspect of personal growth and improvement, while also publishing material that is new and interesting, and will certainly catch your attention.

So we changed our schedule, why should you do it?

Despite the obvious idea that refresh is always welcomed, there is another reason as for why I’m suggesting a slight change of phase.

We lead lifestyles that represent a paradox when our nature is put on one side of the scale versus life’s everyday demands on the other.

Being creatures of comfort, rarely willing to step out of our comfort zone, it’s curious how we go through life leading this more or less hectic lifestyle we all experience.

Therefore stopping for a second and changing gear is something that can not only improve our quality of life, but change it radically while we experience the same.

Where will the change lead

I don’t know; No one knows.

And that’s the beauty of it.

But having past experiences in your bag, and the advantage of analytically observing while changing the phase in which you go through life, my guess is for better. Way better.

Let us strive to improve ourselves, for we cannot remain stationary; one either progresses or retrogrades” ~ Mme. Du Deffand

And that’s the truth, the way I see it.

But progress can most easily be noticed and experienced by changing our current position to an extent.

Here is what I think:

Limit yourself to doing less, but do it better.

You see, we are trying way too much to be everywhere all of the time; to know everything, to control every aspect of life, while having the habit to stress way too much over it.

And I must not be the one who tells this, but we are way too distracted and lacking focus, while failing to realize that we can live simple, rendered from the clutter which we partially created by ourselves, and what is most important, performing better through life, and being better while enjoying more.

We changed our schedule; try to figure out if maybe you should change yours too.

In the end of the day, we see that all progress has been made by experimenting and change of what was already out there. So I will remind myself and you too, to try and change things if we can, to see where it leads us.

What's your opinion?
